Delete your account
You can request deletion of your FilmGleam account and associated data here, without reinstalling the app.
Send a deletion request
Email filmgleam@proton.me from the Google email address you use to sign in to FilmGleam. Use the subject Delete my FilmGleam account and tell us that you want your account and associated data deleted.
Request account deletion ↗The button opens your email app. Send the email to submit your request. You can also copy the address and write from webmail. Never send your password or verification codes.
What happens next
We confirm ownership by email before deleting account data. If you no longer have access to that email, contact us for help. Our target is to complete verified requests within 30 days and confirm the result by email.
What we delete
We delete the FilmGleam account, its sign-in association and the profile, preferences and usage records linked to it that we hold. If a service provider processes associated data for us, we also request deletion there.
This does not delete your Google account. We cannot remotely delete photos stored only on your phone or copies exported to other apps; remove those on your device or through the relevant service.
Data we may need to keep
Records required by law, for security or to prevent fraud may be retained only for the necessary period. If an exception applies, we explain the data, reason and applicable retention period in our response. AI provider retention is described in our privacy policy.
Subscriptions
If you have a Google Play subscription, manage or cancel it in Google Play. Sending this request does not itself cancel a subscription through Google Play.
